Genuine Health Perfect Skin helps to prevent acne and acne scars by reducing inflammation and an over-production of sebum. I appreciate the concept of fighting acne from the inside as well as the outside,but doe Perfect skin have the goods to help prevent and remove acne scars?
Ingredients
- Vitamin E promotes healing and helps reduce the appearance of acne scars as well as softening your skin.
- Zinc helps prevent acne and acne breakouts by keeping out immune system healthy and strong. When our immune system is weak it is harder to fight off bacteria and our bodies start to over-produce sebum.
- Selenium helps you body better absorb Vitamin E.
- Chromium helps reduce skin infections
- Fish Oil is believed to help reduce inflammation and the over-production of sebum
- EPA assist in controlling the androgen hormones in order to prevent excess sebum production.
- EGCG is a cell rejuvenator and protects against free radicals. ECGC successfully restores and heals your skin and prevents wrinkles, dark spots and facial lines from forming. A study revealed that green tea reduces acne lesions by 58%. The high levels of antioxidants in green tea, have anti-bacterial properties which help prevent and treat acne.

Is Perfect Skin Effective
While Perfect skin contains some acne fighting ingredients, I don’t believe it is strong enough to make a dent in your fight against acne and acne scars. It lacks a lot of the qualities we look for in an acne supplement. There are not any ingredients that help lighten or reduce scarring, so we cannot recommend this product as an effective acne scar removal.
Value
Perfect Skin comes in either 60 or 120 soft gels, if taken as directed 2 capsules twice per day, a one month supply (120 capsules) will cost you roughly $45. That is a pretty hefty price considering it may take over 3 months to see any improving results. I would not recommend this product to help remove acne scars.
