Max Clarity
Foam Acne Medication
MaxClarity is a 3-step system that uses scientific complex VersaFoam® to help you achieve acne-free skin. VersaFoam absorbs quickly and penetrates deep into your skin, unlike other popular treatments. MaxClarity uses two acne fighting ingredients, Salicylic Acid and Benzoyl Peroxide. Typically these two ingredients will irritate your skin and cause itching, dryness, and peeling, MaxClarity claims that with the help of VersaFoam technology these ingredients penetrate fast enough that they don’t sit on top of your skin long enough to irritate it.
Is MaxClarity Effective?
MaxClarity is a “triple threat” when it comes to fighting acne. In fact, their toner delivers 60% more medicine per dose that Proactiv, Murad, or skinID. While this is impressive, how effective is MaxClarity at removing acne scars?

Conclusion
Benzoyl Peroxide and Salicylic Acid are two very commonly used acne treatments. Salicylic acid has the ability to shed dead skin cells from within the follicle to help keep ther pores clear of debris and reduce the number of breakouts on the skin.
Benzoyl Peroxide helps reduce surface bacteria but it has no effect on sebum production, which is a major factor in acne. Eradicating acne causing bacteria plays a huge role in fighting acne but if you can’t reduce sebum production then your acne will come back.
To successfully remove acne scars there are a couple of things you need to accomplish, first is stopping acne in it’s tracks to reduce and prevent future breakouts
Acne scars are formed underneath the skins surface so the second component in removing acne scars is increasing collagen and elastin production to fill the scar.
While MaxClarity is a decent temporary fix to healing acne, it does not have any of the characteristics noted above to remove acne scars. Therefor, I cannot recommend MaxClarity as an effective acne scar removal system.
