How Effective is Proactiv?
Proactiv is a 3-Step acne removal system that consists of a Renewing Cleanser, Revitalizing Toner and Repairing Treatment lotion. The Renewing Cleanser is an oil-free exfoliating cleanser that kills acne causing bacteria with prescription-grade benzoyl peroxide.
The Problem with Benzoyl Peroxide…
Despite what manufacturers claim, Benzoyl Peroxide is the the miracle cure to acne, in fact it is the opposite. I would not consider Proactiv a good long-term acne fighting system, or an effective acne scar removal.
