Striaex Acne Scar Cream
What is Striaex Acne Scar Ointment?
Great question. We are still trying to find that out ourselves. The only thing Striaex tells us is that “Striaex Acne Scar Ointment comes from Strioxyl-10, a breakthrough in cosmetic chemistry developed specifically for Striaex… Strioxyl-10 refers to a unique concentrated formula consisting of 10 powerful skincare ingredients” Nowhere on their website do they reveal what those 10 powerful ingredients are. If they were so great, and powerful wouldn’t they want to brag about it ? Why not provide us with some evidence that Striaex Acne Scar Ointment works? Since they don’t, this leads me to believe that they are hiding something. It think it is safe to assume that they don’t disclose their ingredients because they suck.
Is Striaex Acne Scar Ointment a Scam?
I will let you decide this for your self, but I will let you know what I found out after investigating Striaex for myself. Without fail, every Free Trial offer I have come across is FAR from free. It’s standard to pay shipping fees, but that isn’t what I am referring to. What I am talking about is the, short trial periods, auto-ship scams, and the ridiculous fees you have to pay. Not to mention all the hoops you have to jump through to get your money back. If you do get your money back, consider yourself lucky. Not only so these people take your money but they will also rob you of your sanity!
Striaex advertises a Risk-Free 30 Day Guarantee, just be aware that the 30 day guarantee does not apply to Free Trial offers, you only have a 10 day guarantee. Striaex claims that shipping may take 1-3 weeks so your trial will probably be over before you even get your product-which is exactly what they hope for. First Striaex lures you in with their “free” two month supply, all you have to do is pay $2.95 for shipping (or $50.15 if you want it shipped over-night). It sounds like a sweet deal, since the regular price of Striaex Acne Scar Ointment is $114.99 per container, which will last you 1 month. Your free trial comes with a two month supply so after your 10 day trial is up you are billed $229.98.
If you forget to pay, or simply do not want to pay the $229.98 your outstanding balance will be sent to a collections agency. The collections agency is brutal, their fees are 25% of your outstanding balance plus an additional $25 per month late fee. If you go to your credit card company to contest the charges be prepared for the legal and secretarial fees from Striaex’s legal department. Yikes! you are probably better off paying the $229.98 from the get-go.
This information was not very clearly presented on the website, I had to dig very deep in order to find this information out. No wonder people are so upset with Striaex! Their Free Trial turned into a legal nightmare. There are hundreds, if not thousands of outraged victims online, all you have to do is Google “Striaex” and customer testimonials are the first thing to show up.
Integrity
Striaex has a long history of scamming customers. They have a BBB rating of “F”. The BBB President, Lynda Pasacreta is quoted as saying :
“Striaex has a history of using the ‘free’ trial offer to entice consumers, but in the end, consumers have difficulty cancelling the trial because they either haven’t received the product on time, or have not had enough time to try the product out. This is the second go-around with this company, and we are seeing the same pattern of non-response.”
Striaex obviously doesn’t does not value integrity. They show a lack of integrity by making bad products and preying on the desperation of consumers to make a quick buck. Shame on Striaex.
Conclusion
If you can’t already tell, we do not recommend purchasing Striaex Acne Scar Ointment to friends or enemies. In fact, don’t purchase any product sold by Striaex. Save your self the hassle and a couple hundred bucks and avoid them completely. Follow the advice given by the late Nancy Reagan, and “Just Say No”
